As a start-off for our multi-sensual exploration, we will focus on #sound and on the question of archives. We are happy to be hosted by the Trevor Huddleston Memorial Centre, an institution devoted to keeping the legacy of Sophiatown alive. Together, we will visit the exhibition and do sound exercises. In the afternoon, we will meet with Robert Machiri, sound researcher and artist, who will share his ideas on sound and his format, Pungwe.
